Can I return items to a Maryland public library system other than AACPL?

Answer

Yes, all Maryland public library systems accept materials borrowed from any other Maryland public library systems for return. However, returns will not be reflected on your library account until they arrive back at Anne Arundel County Public Library, which can take several days or weeks. We will adjust the date to the date the item was actually returned when it arrives here.

We recommend that when returning items to a non-AACPL location that you ask library staff for a receipt.

It is also recommended that any item borrowed through Marina or Interlibrary Loan be returned to an AACPL branch to ensure it is processed correctly.
