Q. My place in the holds queue is "0." What does that mean?
You are unable to view your place in the holds queue for items that are still on order. Once the items have been received and processed, your number in the queue will be visible in your account. Even though your place in the queue is "0," you have a hold on the item.
To know approximately where you are in the queue, look at the total number of holds already on the item when you place your hold. This number is found at the bottom of the item information in the catalog, below the plot summary. For example, if an item has 20 holds on it when you place your hold, you are likely 21 in the holds queue.
