Q. Does the Library have a computer I can use?

Answer

Yes, every library has computers for public use. Customers can sign up for one hour of computer time with their library card number. It may be possible to sign on again for additional time, if others are not waiting.

All public library computers are on the Windows 7 operating system and offer Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint). They have Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox internet browsers. Computers also have Windows Media Player, WinDVD, and DVD-ROM drives.

If needed, customers must supply their own headphones. Earbuds can be purchased at the circulation desk for $3.00, plus tax.  Software and documents can be temporarily saved on computers, and will be erased when the customer logs off. Flash drives can be purchased at the circulation desk for $6.00, plus tax.
